2016 USA Presidential Elections

On his wikipedia page it says nothing about being found guilty of a crime or even being charged with one. I?m not trying to defend the man (or even know enough to do so) but being pressured out of office because something "looks bad" does not equate to being a criminal.

While I agree that is stupid trying to use the Father of the Orlando shooter against Clinton, it is equally stupid trying to use Foley against Trump. Both campaigns should not sink to this level of argument.

The father of the Orlando shooter was not charged or even involved in the crime.

With all the stuff Trump says and these new revelations in the emails regarding the FBI wanting to investigate the Clinton foundation and being blocked by the DOJ......do we really need to start looking at people in crowds as a reason to discredit or disqualify either of the candidates?

So much dribble... really trying to get every scrap they can get but what da Trump has said and done has pretty much decided this already.

The fact that Hillary is very well going to be the next US president makes this stuff that much more important. Maybe it's different elsewhere, but some people actually want to know who their (next) president actually is. At least I do.

Then it's time to put the foot down and start taking the challenge to the status quo, people are connected digitally and mobilizing like never before, it's time for a third party to score significantly enough to make the Democrats and Republicans they can't keep their two party 'take turns but it's always us' little comfortable mind set.

I agree. The problem is that most Trump voters I've talked to admit that he's terrible but he's better than Clinton, while most Clinton voters I've talked to admit that she's terrible but she's better than Trump. It's the "lesser of two evils" idea and so we keep ending up with terrible candidates.

Sadly, it doesn't work exactly like that, which speaks to what LeVeL was saying about corruption. The entire system is flawed in design that prevents third party candidates. They are allowed to put on a show, and even get voters...that don't eventually count. The reason of course is the Electoral College. Even if Johnson wins 15% of the national vote (call it 20-30 million votes!), he will not get a single electoral vote unless he wins the majority in a particular state (e.g. unless he gets 50% of the vote in Texas, he gets 0 of the 270 votes needed to win the presidency).

Is it a wasted vote? Yes and no. For that particular election, yes. But in the longer scheme of things it creates awareness and mobilizes people to push for third-party candidates in the future.

I agree too. Funny thing is that this is the exact same debate you and I have been having, with the only difference that you deny being a Trump supporter and I deny being a Clinton supporter.

We shouldn't have to settle for the lesser of two evils, but that's the reality of the present situation. And here we will start the debate again. I think you are right in saying that Clinton is "as corrupt as they come," which means - the political status quo continues. With Trump we have a candidate who is dangerously incompetent on all matters (including business). And as we have seen he is not the antidote to corruption.

 :lmao:

Is it the same 5 reasons he gave last time?

Let him do a 5 reasons driving a rusty nail through your left eye is more sensible than voting Trump
It's an easier video to do, the hardest thing is deciding on only 5 you'll put up.

Do either of you want to dispute any of the five? Because if not then don't support Hillary.

I don't support anyone, as you might have gathered, I'm not even in the US. But still, I just fail to see the point. Okay, you've proven you shouldn't vote for Hillary, now what? Cos you super duper really can't vote for Trump.

Third party!!!

Also, as much as it pains me to say this, I'd much rather see Trump in the WH than corrupt, greedy Hillary.

So much this.

For all of Hilary's faults, they are still no worse than Trump's, the only other candidate that has a real chance of winning.

I have said it before but let me say it again, there is no other option than to defeat Trump in my opinion. It is sad and I will do it under protest(will wear a clothes pin on my nose while voting), but I will vote for Hilary. If I thought there was a chance that a reasonable third party candidate could win, I would vote for them. That is not an option this time around.

Corrupt and greedy can be applied to both but only one of them has a track record of constantly grabbing businesses and running them to the ground. As much as it's fascinating to see how Trump has any money at all anymore after bankrupting fool proof businesses such as casinos, I don't think you want to take your chances at his hands on the wheel of an entire nation.
Unfortunately for the rest of the world whatever happens in the US affects us all, so I wouldn't like to take my chances with a buffoon who insists Obama founded ISIS and other memorable idiocy like that.

Unfortunately, this is the same logic that Trump voters use. This lesser-of-two-evils idiocy is how we end up with horrible politicians, despite the fact that polls show that 2/3rds of Americans would prefer a third party candidate. We are our own worst enemies and you, sir, are part of the problem.

What evidence is there of Trump being corrupt? Also, most people don't see to understand what bankruptcy is - doesn't mean "broke" but rather just debt restructuring.
