Amazing to think that Senna's Pole Lap from 20 years ago - still probably the greatest qualifying lap ever performed - was over 13 seconds slower than Daniel's today.

Good day for Australian Motorsport as Daniel wins Monaco from pole and Will Power wins the Indy 500 as the #1 and #2 cars had to pit with 5 laps to go for fuel.

I hate this Grand Prix. There might have been a race going on behind the advertising but you'd not know it by the camerawork.
Typical scene:
(1) Camera on advertising billboard.
(2) Pan down to race track, cars enter view.
(3) Follow cars until out of view.
(4) Pan to another advertising billboard and linger;
I turned the race off in disgust.
