300C SRT-8 THE HEMI STILL KING OF THE STREETS

Thanks for posting the clip. I've got to give credit to Chrysler for making a 420 hp car, but it's still only 0-60 in "under 6 seconds"? :?

That review is pretty typical American...

that car is meh

so much horsepower so little results cause it's a fucking fat american car

why dont you save face and by getting a Mercedes E55AMG...better brakes, better handling, better engine, better name, better inside and out...just better in all respects...the 300C is the same car...just cheapend by a chrysler badge and their styling department.

0-60 is 4.9 seconds MOTOR TREND CONFIRMED

numbers dont lie hell u cant lie when your choking on the dust of the SRT-8

what does motor trend say the price is?

and numbers dont tell you shit about handling, ride, quality, braking, in gear acceleration...or any of the other things the rest of world has come to apreciate in an automobile

"edit" MSRP for Chrysler 300C SRT-8 is $39,000 tack on $10,000 in extra charges (they always have this crap, destination chage...some colour other than sea foam etc.) and you have $50,000 ish

i found 6 2003-2004 Mercedes E55 AMGs for at or below that price

Meh, You wouldn't see me in one, even with the Hemi. The look from the front makes its look like a bently, and I like it, but when you look to see the back of the car, it just looks too simple and lackluster. I'll admire it when it passes by when I'm driving, but I don't like it. But I do think that the 300C is a good move forward for Chrysler.

i like buying cars who are designed by americans an african american to be exact GOD BLESS AMMERICA 8)

What a boat, how could the steering be crisp... it weighs 4,100 lbs.

so basically it can't compete with any european cars. Not particularly pretty either. I'd much rather have a BMW or Merc.

you help designers by supporting them when they do good...you dont help designers when you just buiy something cuz "its made in america" that kind of thinking gets the american car market to its current place

accutaly, the 300 is based on the OLD merc E class, not this (new) one ;)

I was under the impression it was the new one, which is due to be replaced next year...which is why merc is selling their tooling to chrysler

I'd much rather have a Commodore SS or Caprice SS myself. They're cheaper, lighter, almost as powerful, and they can actually handle. The ones due in 2006 should have 400hp as well.

That car looks obese to me. Too much pimpin' going on there. It would be nice to hear how fast it's on N?rburgring or some other test track.
