Saturday 30rd of April @ 7pm GMT 0:00 S2 Alpha Demo

General Rules
1. You can only join if you are a serious racer. We are here for fun and we don't need childish wreckers.
2. You need a legal copy of the game. Demo will do for the first couple of races, almost everyone has the full version already. Later on we will be playing the full version online.^
3. If you keep fucking up the race, like forgetting to brake in every corner or anything like that. I'll kick your butt ;-)

Racing Rules

1. If you want to overtake the car in front of you, honk the horn once.
2. If you are being overtaken, go to the either side of the track. just don't be in the way.
3. If you want to let the person behind you know he can overtake you, use the double turn-signal and go to either side of the track.
If you don't have turn-signals mapped, do it.
4. If you see a person behind you that is faster and wants to overtake, let him. Don't ignore him and think you can be faster.
Turn on the blinker and let him pass. You may even want to slow down a bit so you two won't end up in a corner side by side.
5. Don't use other people as a guide-rail in corners. If you can't keep up, don't ruin it for them.
6. If someone accidently hits you and you end up in the grass, don't plan on revenge. Nobody is out to kill your fun.
7. Overtaking in corners is a thing you should decide for yourself, as long as you don't violate rule number 5 it's fine.
Slower cars can take the corner wide so faster people can overtake on the inner side.
8. No alcohol is allowed.
9. Have fun!

wont make it, im goin to visit my parents in hungary, my flight is early afternoon but that day im gonna go out with them and have dinner etc, after that crazy budapest nightlife with my friends there :twisted:

i also wont make it the week after, cos i will be back here only on may 9th. i got 56k in budapest :yucky:

I may be a little late. I've got a Thermo final at noon my time (about 5pm your time). So I'll get on when I can. Can't promise too much as far as improved driving. Oh, and I've got S1, so you can change that up there.
 
lucky bastard pdanev... I'm going to definetly make it this time, plus I won't lag as much as I'll be in Hong Kong with 6mbit connection :D , I'll probably play even longer this time cuz I don't have to go biking at 6am in the morning :D

Can I just go at the back of the grid so I don't inadvertently kill everyone?

I watched a few replays of our races and I think I might be able to drive sane in a group.
 
no, if you go to the back of the grid, it'll be chaos in the first corner... all the front runners will see in the back mirror is cars sliding and the flying everywhere and this green car coming after them as well
 
I can brake earlier at the start, then all the good racers should be gone.

Then the crappy races can fight it out for last, ie sir_dude, bihus, pilot guy, viper if he's on, josty :mrgreen: ...
 
na... if you brake earlier, if the good racers reactions are quick enough... it would be no problem dodging you... esp those with wheels, but might be abit tricky with the mouse
 
UKD do you know that actually when you pull your handbrake at the start of the race, and dont release it till the end of the race, you are much much faster :p
 
Maybe we can do a recon. lap and during that time have all the not so great people sort themselves out, and officially start the race on lap 2.
 
lol... like a qualifying lap or one lap in the actual race?... that might be pretty cool to have a rolling start, :lol:, plus we could use that lap for warming up the tires, we should try it a couple of times on sat ;)
