doesn't the number reflect the engine size?
F360 = 3.6liter
F430 = 4.3liter

So next will be also the engine size. If it's gonna be a 5 liter -> F500

The difference waws that big, because it was a completly new engine...

Maybe something around a F440 or 450.... Who knows...

F500 is a Benz Concept car. They're not gonna name it that way.
And also it's a bit similar to F50.

I was not saying that's gonna be the name, it's just an example of how their names work :)

His point is the bad grammar.

i don't know if that is neccessary. the 430 had 490bhp, which is plenty for the "smallest" ferrari. if it had close to 600, then the other "bigger" ferraris would have to be more powerful as well. i'd say go for it :thumbsup:

That?s exactly what happens. Many years ago, when they launched the F40, the other cars in the line-up had less power. Today, the "cheapest" :lol: Ferrari is more powerfull then the F40, so all the others are also more powerfull.
And concerning the name, sometimes they mix other things, not just engine size. The F355 was a 3.5 with 5 valves per cylinder. AND they already had the F550 and the F575 in recent years.

The question in this thread is what they should replace the F430 with.
It's just far to early to know exactly what kind of cars will be around to replace the F430.
Just enjoy the F430, which should be a awesome car, while you have it.

Not a chance. It will be F500. It's simple math as jensked wrote.

4.3 - 3.6 = 0.7

4.3 + 0.7 = 5.0

WTF? :bangin:

so according to you
3.60 - 3.55 = 0.05
3.60 + 0.05 = 3.65

should the F430 be called the F365

The next one will be F455. It sounds so much like a Ferrari model and it's bigger than 430 and smaller than 512 and 550

No F370, since the F355 only had 3.5L engine capacity :lol:
What is this nonsense anyway? The F430 is just a year old, it's not yet time to worry about the next model.

That's what they WANT you to think!

How bout some pics of that 360? :bangin:
