365 Dream Cars

Today's two:

I'll get back to the first one in a few days - I'm not at home at the moment, so I've lost access to those ones until Monday.

The other one was

1958 Ferrari 250GT Coupe

Even though Enzo Ferrari decreed his road cars as necessary evils to fund his racing interests, his company still turned out some gorgeous street cars. Only about 350 of these coupes were built from 1958 to 1960, and like many Ferraris of the day, it had a 3.0-liter V-12 that was fed by three Weber carburetors.

Today's is:

have no idea, but judging by the lines, i would say seat or lexus

correct as usual fbc :)

2003 Lexus LF-S Concept

We liked the look of this one, and that was a good thing because like so many concepts, this Lexus showed the future styling direction of the luxury marque. There will be a V-8-powered production version, but expect a higher roofline. It may turn out a little less sleek, but who wouldn?t want one?

Here's today's quickie:

They're also considering an in-house tuner like AMG.

todays is possibly a Talbot Loga???, or maybe a Jaguar. I really cannot tell

Back home now :)

The old, red car at the top of the page is:

1931-34 Alfa Romeo 8C2300

Among Alfas, the 8C is the car that cemented the company's sporting reputation in the early 1930s by winning Le Mans four times from 1931 through 1934. Some of the car's success was attributed to the brilliant engineer Vittorio Jano, who designed the 8C's excellent in-line eight-cylinder engine.

as correctly identified by asthenia.

Saturday's quickie was 1935 STOUT SCARAB as identified by the amazing mautzel :)

Here are three more quickies for Sunday (I know, I'm a day behind, but do I care? :D) - one of them, if you don't get, I shall get Ren to ban you! :p

Name the model:

Name the marques:

Too easy on the marques. I thought this was suppose to be a challenge....

Ferrari, and the Dodge Super Bee. Personally I'd have the Super Bee over any Ferrari, but that's just me being an american...

Sorry mautzel - I'll reveal this one early and get back on with the regular schedule for Monday - it was 1908 Pierce Great Arrow and of course the other two were Ferrari and Dodge respectively.

Here are today's cars:

Don't know my Ferraris or my neogothic 20's kit car knockoffs too well.

Is that Zimmer built on a last-gen Mustang? Look at the doors and pillar!

bang on AutoMX - top marks

2000 Zimmer Golden Spirit Convertible

This car is not the result of a redneck gone crazy with Wal-Mart auto accessories. It's a bona fide car, and it costs $90,000. Honest. Art Zimmer of the Zimmer Motor Car Company builds only a handful of Golden Spirits each year, and we're sure he's cornered the market on automotive extravaganzas.

and

1985 Ferrari 288GTO

It may be hard to imagine, but this Ferrari was built to compete in off-road Group B rallying. Ferrari isn?t known for off-roading, but the GTO had a twin-turbo 400-hp V-8 that would have rocketed down dirt roads. Even though 272 GTOs were made, Group B was axed before a GTO ever got dirty.
