365 Dream Cars

ive seen tht zimmer thing before...its way too long...damn and to see such a car in malaysia is amazing

I already know what today's is! Lemme guess...Jaguar S-Type R.

I knew someone would do that eventually Dr. Woo, now that I'm using 2005 - but don't spoil the fun for everyone else. Plus, you still have to guess the 2002 editions.

Today's are:

and

http://img376.imageshack.**/img376/2113/3650491ri.jpg

seeing as Dr. Woo has already told us this one, here's the info:

2003 Jaguar S-Type R

HORSEPOWER: 390 @ 6100 rpm

shouldn't be too hard to get the other either as there seem to be a lot of fans of the beast.

bang on AutoMX - top marks

2000 Zimmer Golden Spirit Convertible

This car is not the result of a redneck gone crazy with Wal-Mart auto accessories. It's a bona fide car, and it costs $90,000. Honest. Art Zimmer of the Zimmer Motor Car Company builds only a handful of Golden Spirits each year, and we're sure he's cornered the market on automotive extravaganzas.

1985 Ferrari 288GTO

It may be hard to imagine, but this Ferrari was built to compete in off-road Group B rallying. Ferrari isn?t known for off-roading, but the GTO had a twin-turbo 400-hp V-8 that would have rocketed down dirt roads. Even though 272 GTOs were made, Group B was axed before a GTO ever got dirty.

Ferrari were going to rally that car??

And will you be surprised to know that the F40 is heavily based on that car?

^ Not totally - that bit of knowledge is stored somewhere in the foggy parts of my brain, only to be prompted when someone mentions it :)

I have a lot of that knowledge, too. 8)

I won't spoil any more fun. Besides, the S-Type R is hardly a difficult car to guess. Today's, however...hahaha, good luck.

Of course it was the:

2001 Koenigsegg CC/V8S

Christian Koenigsegg, a Swedish sports-car builder, says his 242-mph CC/V8S is the fastest production car in the world, a dubious claim. At a base price of $350,000, he'll build maybe a handful of them, which makes the car more of a custom than a production model.

Here are today's two - sorry about the delay:

Forget the exact model Saleen, but it's one of their Mustang converts.

The second looks like one of many Corvette concepts.

The top one is a Saleen, the bottom one is a... it's a... it's a fish... yeah, that's it, a fish...

You got there as usual :)

1998 Saleen Mustang Racer

The ungainly-looking rear wing and front spoiler are very important to this race car. Air passing over the car presses down on the wing and spoiler, giving the tyres more traction. More traction equals more speed, and more speed - of course - equals more wins.

1962 Chevrolet Corvair Super Spyder Concept

Shortly after the rear-engined Corvair convertible was introduced, this show car appeared. It probably resembled the car that many Corvair enthusiasts wished for, but it never saw production. A pure dream car, the Super Spyder did not have a roof and relied on a small, cut-down windshield for bug protection.

Bottom one's a Comptech S2000, I know that much.

Top is the contents of Terminator's septic tank?

Edit: The top is Terminator's septic tank.

Top one's a Mitsubishi concept car (I think...), haven't googled for the name yet...

lol @ BlaRo :)

Anyway - they are:

2000 Mitsubishi SSS Concept

Mitsubishi claimed it invented yet another vehicle class with the SSS. The idea was to take a fastback sports coupe, raise it a little for better ground clearance and visibility, and make room for a couple of bikes in the back. A neat idea, but a whole new vehicle class? What about the Chevy El Camino and All Allroad?

and

2000 Comptech USA Honda S2000

It?s a little tricky to improve a car that?s as close to perfection as the Honda S2000 roadster. But after years of development, Comptech pulled it off. The thrust of the supercharged and intercooled 350-hp four?up 110 horsepower from stock?was simply fantastic, and the wail of the exhaust was sweet music.

It's a real NSX, just that you don't see the windows...

And it's in offroad suspension.
