After installing my new GFX card I ran the test again and although my computer is far from being a gamer's system, it is performing much better than it did before. :)

Lots better than the 67 I got the last time I ran the test !

Hey I could see more than still pictures this time !

So how do you guys fair on this :?:

Those with good systems must see some awesome animations.

From that test's standpoint it is obvious my CPU is way outdated but I won't change it until I am ready to get a whole new box in a few years from now.
It's just not worth it to upgrade piece by piece this old one at the moment. It works good enough for my needs. :)

The last time I ran 3dmark was at version 2001se. I got a shade over 20000 with my shiny new amd64 with a radeon9800pro.

A bit under 10k, don't remember exactly, and not gonna download that monstrosity just to test it again.
E6750 + 8800gts 320mb

Why are you guys with similar systems getting such lower scores than me?

With no OC'ing yet, I got 11102: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=4416363

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 @ stock speeds (2.66GHz?)
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P Mobo
2GB OCZ PC2 6400 DDR2 RAM
XFX 512MB 8800 GT @ 625MHz/1800MHz (OC coming soon probably)
Creative Audigy 2 ZS (wasn't worth upgrading from my old PC)
1.4TB space ^_^

My old PC got 2202.

My score isn't that much lower. You're only getting around 500 or so more marks than me. I'm guessing it's the difference between a GTS and a GT. Plus my motherboard isn't as good (crappy chipset compared to yours).

As you can see, my CPU score was a bit higher than yours (because of my overclock), but my vid card tests were lower (thanks to your GT).

I'm not proud of my computer.

I can't be stuffed downloading the thing (580mb, wtf?) but I can give you specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2Ghz
2GB Ram
1024MB Ati Mobility Radeon 2600
2 x 160GB Hitachi HTS5...blah blah blah's

1024? WTF? Integrated or something?
Yes, I forgot to say, I have a laptop. The directx diagnostic tool says:

Display Memory: 1024.0 MB

etc...

I did it on a the Lan a couple of days back after hoiurs of gaming without restart, and all...
Was around 5800, dunno the exact number...#

Prolly I should OC a bit, but for a htpc silence is worth more...

C2D6300, 2gig DDr2-800 Corsair, GF 7900 GTO (GTX with 10% lower RAM freq.) all on Asus P5B

Yes, I forgot to say, I have a laptop. The directx diagnostic tool says:
Ah, okay, yeah, shared memory. It means your video card has no RAM of it's own and instead it uses your system's normal RAM.

Not sure what the performance of the 2600 is like though. I wish ATi would stop being so fucking annoying an use a regular numbering system. I mean, is the 2600 better or worse than a 9800?

<3 nVidia

11119

Comp hasn't been altered in any way, no OCing and did this test without a restart. Might do another one later.

I wonder what i could squeeze out of it if i learnt a bit about OCing.

Too tired to post my specs. I'll do it later also :p

Noo, you beat me by 17!

My 3DMark06 score is 5459.

Here's my setup:
AMD X2 4600 (@2.83ghz)
Mushkin DDR400 (@217mhz)
ECS KN1 Lite
Sapphire X1950GT (@681/661)

I think I win...last time I ran it, I was less than 10 points shy of 16000.
I think my BIOS reflash will help me.

What are your specs? And why do you have such a crazy PC?

I mean, I can run all games on all high with max settings. Seems a bit silly to invest more money into a PC when the price vs. performance is exponential.
