The latest version is reported to put more load on the CPU, so it's no longer a GPU only benchmark (like 05 was), and it's multithreaded too. As expected, it's even harder on your hardware than 05 was, with 7800GTX 512MB cards paired with FX-60s scoring around 5000 Marks. Here's the link:

I'm going to have to wait until I get broadband before d/ling this one. :(

hmm... i thought it wasn't coming out until Feb.

Downloading at 5kb/sec from majorgeeks. Perhaps they're a bit swamped...

The old wouldn't even run smoothly on my system...
I guess I'm not gonna bother with it, since it only makes me wanna upgrade...

Damn, they will be swamps for the next 2 weeks. After that I'll take a stab and cry all the way through it.

Viper, you should overclock your CPU too, not just graphics card, I see a lot of improvement after OC my P4.

Yeah, I had previously OC'ed via my BIOS (just selecting +10%), but it REALLY screwed up my nice RAM timings.

geeeeeeeeeees.... i'm d/ling 06 now and see wha tmy score shoudl be. HOpefully i break 1000 but unlikely since my set up is very similar to ranger_dood

I just did the 2005 version and only scored 4000ish.

I am betting i will only get 600 on 2006.
