4min Film Shot on an EOS 20D

Was going to say the same :jawdrop:

Me likes

Wow that was so sweet. It was so fluid, man such a neat idea. Great work!

That was Really Good - well done!

A phenomenal piece of work. Those awards are well-deserved.

I can't help but wonder if you could modify the firmware to give you a faster framerate, if that's possible then you have quite a nice video device on your hands.

^Your framerate is only as good as your shutter actuation speed and your buffer size, and how fast your camera writes that buffer to the memory card. I'm not sure how much a firmware revision would help that.

Corpse Bride was shot entirely on 1DsMkII's modified to use Nikon glass:

Is nikon glass that better?
I'm asking that to understand the need of the mod and to help me decide when it comes the time to choose my first dSLR. I think I'll open a new thread when the time comes, or even sooner, but why that mod?

the Nikon glass was used because the production company already had $90K worth in Nikon glass...it'd be a slight waste of money to switch entirely to Canon, so only the bodies were switched.

me being a Nikon shooter, will of course say, "Yes Nikon glass is THAT MUCH BETTER"

but the truth is what i posted first.

I bet you could change everything except maybe the shutter actuation, and for that just pop er open! Far stranger things have been done to digital cameras.

Oh, a hardware change would do it, I guess. It's possible, but I think you'd have to create a memory device that could write as quickly as the modded camera would put out. You'd have to attach a hard drive or something.

It's be sweet, but it'd be a lot of work!

I have a feeling from some of the posts that some people think I did this! LOL My name is Mike not Patry and I am a student not a filmmaker :p I also live in the UK not New York!
