OK...I'm as big a Python fan as the next, but is anyone with me in thinking that, compared to Spanish Inquisistion and, say, the mattress sketch, the dead parrot is highly overrated? I don't want to start a debate, since funniness isn't something that's worth debating, just looking for yeas or nays.

I don't know about that... I find that the Dead Parrot Sketch it a true timeless classic, just out of sheer creativeness and total absurdity. It's one of those sketches that you never really forget. I can mention the DPS to almost anyone, and they'll know what I'm talking about.
 
I watched it when it was on TV, but I'm definately going to download it for keeps - pure genius these sketches - seriously :)
