In West-England you find the 5.2 kms long Westhill circuit. The track, situated in a farming area, provides fast and wide turns, spiced up with two interesting chicanes and the widest and most beautiful finish-straight in S2 with a "no look" turn 1.

As some of you know, I'm working this weekend so I'm out already.

I'm going away for the weekend as well so I won't be in :(... shame though, I was really looking forward to this track

I picked this track because I really hoped the FZR would be manageable and competitive here (seeing how I love that car on this track).
I can get 25 clean laps in it, and I can kill the FXR with it in hot lapping, but with an "endurance" setup, I'm 1 to 1.5 seconds off the pace with it compared to the FXR.

No Formula V8?
Formula V8 is a LOT faster than the GTRs.

sorry about that... but I'm definetly back for that UF1 race :D... I would have picked the FOX for this track though... easy to handle... not much braking needed = little room for error :D

I probably would have gone for the FZR as well. Flowing corners fit that car very well. Tight track is impossible with that car and I did try it once. Never again.

but the FZR has little room for error... a little mistake in the throttle and you're there drifting without control

Not if you can control it properly. I know the throttle is extremely touchy with that car and a little too much throttle gets you sideways. I almost completed one lap with it in Kyoto GP

me too... I lost the FZR once in the oval and once in the chicane after the oval... in the oval, I accidently dipped the front wheel on a flat surface and my car totaled

^ Cool. I only work this weekend and my schedule until February has no weekend work, so...:D.

Ok, I'll start hosting in a minute. Let's cruise for a while, hopefully others will join :)

game: finalgear
pass: fg

Sweet racing! Although I didn't like the part when I lost it 1 lap before the end

Next week's UF1 race also starts promising ;)

I'm not planning to roll over although with my "skill", I'll touch the curb and go flying ;).
