'68 Olds Cutlass S
Here is my car. It's a 1968 Olds Cutlass S sport coupe, or post car. In Olds-Speak, sport coupe was the post and holiday coupe was the hardtop.

It has a massaged Olds 455 with rare Olds D heads from the W-30 cars, Comp Cams XE274H cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock Torker 455 intake, Holley 780 double pumper, Mondello forged crank & rods, Holley electric fuel pump, kitted TH400 transmission, 10 bolt 3:73 posi rear end, Hooker headers & Flowmaster exhaust, 442 grille, rear bumper & exhaust trumpets, '69-'72 Olds rear wing.

It hasn't been on a dyno but since the 1970 455 from which this is based was good for 390 hp stock you can figure it's probably right at 430 to 450 hp and over 500 lb/ft. of torque.

Some of these are from the Ebay auction. The last one is me and my son Tyler washing the car.

Looks nice! Always love to see some MUSCLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the colour, suits the car well, the wing on the back is a bit iffy though.

Very nicely looked after. Why does white tyre side-wall lettering look so cool on cars like this and so tacky on everything else? I like the rear wing, keeps the balance (in terms of looks(some cars look too "thin" or "empty" without a spoiler)).

Is that a GTO in the back?

Technically, the wing is not correct for the car but it is correct for the '69 - '72 Olds Cutlass, Rally 350, Hurst/Olds and/or 442. The Olds purists don't complain.

Here's some of what the wing came on from the factory:

Nope. It's a '67 Olds 442. He sold the '68 to me to make room in the garage for the restoration of the '67. Here's what it looks like now...

sweet, I love american muscle! Do you have any burnout pictures...? :burnrubber:
Nope. I'm too busy driving it to take many pictures. The wide tires hook up before there's too much spinning. Now, my dearly departed '73 Trans Am with a 455 and 4-speed would burn tires to the rim. Sadly, Hurricane Katrina ate it. Here's a pic at the '04 New Orleans World Of Wheels where I won Best In Class...

Niiiiiiiiiiiiice :D

The '64-'72 A-Bodies are some of my favorite cars out there. Especially the Olds and Buick examples.

Damn... Nice car...

That car is pure beauty, I could only dream of my Mustang to look that immaculate! Very nice engine mods list, I'd love to see a video or hear a sound clip of that baby.

Was it a restoration?

I don't race it. It's just for cruising.

I don't have any audio or video but that's a good idea. I'll do that as soon as I get my bent pushrod problem fixed. A locknut on one of the rollers cme loose and it bent a pushrod. I have to remove the intake manifold to get it out.

The car will be for sale soon if anyone is interested.
