911 porn

Well, the 993 GT1 started life as some sort of stretched 911 back in 1995, as far as I know? It's just some sort of extreme evolution. But yes, the Group C cars are probably more the case of it.

The 911 GT1 doesn't have an aircooled engine in the back but a watercooled one in the middle. From the front up to the B-pillar the raw body was lifted from the 993 and altered a bit for homologation, but the rest doesn't have anything to do with a 911.

Oh well, it is still epic.

okay, thanks for clarification

My favorite angle to view a 911:

Holy car control batman... Overtaking that Lotus Cortina on opposite lock...

Very similar driving style to this guy:

Too bad they didn't have better weather, and the bass was just too overwhelming. Sometimes you almost didn't understand what Sutcliffe said since I had to turn down the volume to not upset the neighbours below me...

I just noticed that was my 2000th post...

Sorry but what those RWB-guys do is in 99% of the cases just way too much. Add that their name is just pointless wannabe-german doesn't help.

I will admit I don't know German and I don't know know what Begriff means but Rugh Welt comes from a Japanese person trying to say "Rough World" :p

Looks wise its subjective but personally I really like the wide body look.

And because race car.

Even doctors like them!

I don't mind wide body, but they just mostly add too much shit to it. "Begriff" is "term" or a bit more off "definition". And "Rauh" seem a misspelled "rau", which is the german adjective for rough. Welt is correct and means world as you said. But all in all, I kinda understand, or think I do, what they were trying to come up with, but they just failed miserably.

Here is something less RWB for thomas :p

In order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911, we are sending an authentic 1967 model around the globe. Follow the 911 on his journey and watch some of the highlights in this album. Stay tuned for more pictures.

Facebook link. Its public so no account is required.

I guess Porsche has enough money to send a full sized car around the world, rather than a model :p
