Yeah that's cool..

Should we make this the last demorace then?

Yeah, screw the demo racers. I'm better now. Just kidding, how do you want to attract new people to LFS if there will be no more way for them to see how it's like online with us ?

Oh there is, buy S1. And it's not like we are asking new people to spend alot of money on this game. It's not much 12 UKPounds. Go to McDonnalds twice and you'll spend more than that.

They can try the demo first, and try some demo-servers from the LFS Community itself to see how online racing goes.

How do I wanna attract new people? Well S2 is coming out soon, and if they watch some replays they'll see if it's any fun for them, if it's not, then it's not.

[edit: check my postcount, I like it. 5555 posts. ] :D

You didn't get my point. It's not that they can't see how it is online for themselves. It's just that there is a big difference between a random demo server and our weekly races. You're trying to get the community involved and I don't see this happen if we don't show them first what they get out of it.

Personally I would never buy a game because some guys are saying so. I'd like to check for myself what's so great about it. You're not going to realize the potential that S1 has, if you join a demo server where some jerk keeps crashing into you, and you get insulted all the time. Let's be realistic S1 will convince no one through fantastic graphics. It's the racing you get out of it, which just isn't the same in demo multilayer.

wait a minute... its 12pounds?... I thought it was 12USD... guess I better start saving up  ... after this weekend I won't be on anyways... I have my finals coming up... so I'll buy S1 and hopefully a wheel and whoop all your asses  ....

@Swek: True, but now we have S1 players only...so no need to keep playing demo.

I suggest we play S1 normally and if we have a few people who wanna join us we play demo for an hour or more on saturday.

Other ideas are welcome.

Since I've never played S1 with you, I'm curious what the difference is. Which cars and tracks should I practice till next weekend ?

practice with the beasts (if u already unlocked them)
lx6 & mrt5

Okay, I did Fern Bay RallyX Green 3 laps with 3 AI (Amateur) and I got amazing 6 points. That really helped.
