a driving cd for myself

Judas Priest - Turbo Lover
Queen - Ride the Wild Wind
Sonata Arctica - Still Loving You (Scorpions cover)

I recorded all the music running on the GTA San Andreas radio stations and currently have them running in my car in real life as well :)

^ i much prefered the music from GTA Vice city. I'm more of an 80's kind of guy.

I love GTA's chat radio stations. VCPR & KCHAT (Vice) rocked!! ChatterboxFM (GTA3) was pretty cool aswell.

Does anyone know if Lazlow IS Jerry Seinfield?

:music: Welcome to the jungle... :music:
I bet your fuel economy goes down when you listen to that :p

Hope you didn't record that awefull country radio station

For the previous games you have been able to buy a set of actual CD's of the music from each radio station.

I know they did this with Vice City and San Andreas....not sure about Liberty City Stories.

And according to IMDB "Lazlow - Talk Radio (voice)" was played by Lazlow Jones, who is credited for the other games as well.

I guess at some point I only played Vice City because of the music... ;-)
There are extraction progs around for the GTA format, so if anybody has the game, there is no need to record it, just convert it... Or was that NFS???

I have to admit that I haven't played Vice City yet  but I should like it very much!

Yes, I recorded all stations and made a compilation afterwards as I still don't have a portable MP3 player (jumped on the Minidisc-train eight years ago and am still very satisfied with it)

And I don't worry about fuel economy no matter what I do - TDI rocks in that context :p

here are a few good ones:

The Rasmus - In The Shadows
New Radicals - Get What You Give
Mylo - Drop The Pressure
Les Rhythmes Digitales - Jacques Your Body
DJ Shadow - You Can't Go Home Again
David Holmes - Gritty Shaker
Snow Patrol - Run
Travis - Side
Deadly Avenger - We Took Pelham

Vice Vity Rules!!!!! i've got the soundtrack and its excellent!!! and the san andreas soundtrack is also nice but definitly not as good as the vice city one. both soundtracks are excellent for driving (except the stupid country station on san andreas)

Can't beat listening to Flock of Seagulls whilst riding a motorbike at top speed ;)

Again, IMO the best roadtrip album is "A Decade Of Hits 1969-1979" by the Allman Brothers Band.

Breaking Benjamin - So Cold
Astrix - Fire
Carbon Leaf - Life Less Ordinary
Adema - The Way you like it
Powerman 5000 - Free
Disturbed - Ten Thousand Fists

Im gonna die for saying this, but some Meat Loaf wouldnt do any harm, also
Rob Dougan- Im Not Driving Anymore
