Well the new season has started this weekend so ths thread needs a revival. Right where to start...
Yesterday (Friday) saw 4 British clubs in the Champions League 2rd qualifying draw, which ended up like this-
Spartak Moscow vs
CELTIC
Bremen vs Domzale / Dinamo Zagreb
Ajax vs Zilina / Slavia
Valencia vs Debrecen / Elfsborg
RANGERS / Zeta vs Red Star / Levadia
Toulouse vs
LIVERPOOL
Benfica vs Kobenhavn / Beitar Jerusalem
Lazio vs Dinamo Bucaresti
Sparta Prague vs
ARSENAL
Sevilla vs AEK
Liverpool have an easy tie, Arsenal should go through , Sparta are a good strong Europena team so thye need a good performance at the Emirates. Rangers will go through if we can them over at Ibrox, which we will because ill be there. Celtic right now in my books are out, crappy defending in pre seaosn has shown that WGS hasn't used there massive budget to proper use. They have a hard tie and the hardest venue, which is where the final are being held ironically.
Tomorrow Man United play Chelsea in the Community Shield at Wembley, lets hope its better than the woeful FA Cup final.
Today is also the start of the new Scottish season, which is now the Clydesdale Bank SPL and hence it gets a fancy new logo.
Fixtures for this weekend-
Saturday-
Inverness CT vs Rangers
Dundee Utd vs Aberdeen
Gretna vs Falkirk
St Mirren vs Motherwell
Sunday-
Celtic vs Kilmarnock
Monday-
Hearts vs Hibs
Yesterday also marked another dark day in the saga (funny one of that  ) of Leeds United FC as they were docked 15 points for going into administration
