A Ton of My Auto Racing Photos

Hi, just thought I'd share some (well, ok, about 8 gigabytes) of the photos I've taken at various sorts of auto events I've been a part of.

I'll post a link to the full gallery, with 100x100, 640x480, and fullsized versions of each image, and a couple of teaser shots to give you an idea of what's there.

All pictures were taken with a Canon 20D and the poor collection of cheap lenses I have. Fullsized images are 8MP.

In roughly chronological order:

1. Open Track day at Streets of Willow Springs

2. Antique Drags at a Local 1/8th Mile Track

3. Open Track Event at California Speedway

Nice photos You were lucky to get that flame coming out of the scoobys exhaust! Looks impressive. The third one down has a really good sense of speed to it.

I agree, but I've been doing them one by one rather than trying to handle all of them. Here's a couple that I've fiddled with:

The only other thing that bugs me about the pictures is that my telephoto zoom lens got really dirty while I was shooting pictures at the drags and I didn't notice it until I was going through the pictures from the California Speedway event. Oh well, it's clean now.
