Ok, it appears that there is no US television deal in place to cover A1GP so would it be possible for one of you kind souls to record and torrent the races for the Americans?

I REALLY want to get into this racing series, but I am feeling knd of left out in the cold by those with the power to cover it!

Sky Sports is a sponsor of the UK team, so it would make sense that they cover the races. By the way, here are a few shots of these cars in action...

A1GP... I wish they'd show that over here.. maybe I need to reprogram Eurosport again hehe.
I find this one of the most interesting indeas of motorsport in a hugely long time, finally a way for great drivers to prove themselves against others in an equal way!
 
Sheikh Maktoum, from what I saw on Fifth Gear, is a really cool & down to earth guy, being a millionare and in a royal family. A1GP is gonna rock.

I bet Speed Channel here in the US might show alot of highlights, maybe a race or two.

They didn't strike a deal with any U.S. channels, so I doubt it will air. I'm for this too, somebody please record, I'll seed.

It was announced last week that RTL will be broadcasting A1GP live across the Netherlands

I don't think it has been confirmed as yet, but I think I read somewhere that they are testing next Monday at Silverstone. More information then I guess :)
 
I would highly recommend that everyone in the USA start emailing Speed channel right now so that they see a strong interest in this racing series. Get on the forum at speedtv.com too and start pounding them!

good idea, I'ma send them a letter soon.
 
Sent them an email begging for A1GP and telling them to reduce the amount of NASCAR crap on their station.

Most of our good drives already race in F1/Indy/Atlantique

I don't know who they'll come up with
 
For the Aussies - Fox Sports are showing this live - coverage starts Sunday at 10pm.
 
Ahh crap :( No FoxSports here. Will need to find a pub somewhere :D
