people may pass each other in nascar but it isn't exactly exciting, you may get a lot of wheel to wheel racing in nascar but its still boring as hell, it just goes to prove that its quality over quantity once again, wheel to wheel racing in F1 is NEVER boring, just a bit rare. Anyways

Yeah i was going to say, if they weren't driving american cars the steering and brakes may have avoided an accident.

As for the crash, I like old muscle cars, I find them to be as kool as some of the super cars. If you race them, you are bound to get into a few crashes, they aren't the best handling cars, they were meant to drag(most of them at least).
And oh yeah, NASCRAP sucks.

Just a hunch, but it seems they are pretty much, full fledged track cars, so I bet some body work will fix them up. But it looks like a few may have more serious damage.
