 What he said.

That's some pretty brilliant satire too.

I always found it strange to build faith around a man, who was supposedly nailed to a tree 2000+ years ago, because he had become a nuisance to the ruling body of his country.

Nooooooo, he was nailed to a cross because he had to die for our sins and form the holy trinity with his father and the holy spirt! His dad arranged that for him.
It?s still sunday, go to a church and ask the priest. Best during the prayer - priests love to be asked stuff during the prayer! :D

Jesus was a zombie,........ why is he worshiped again? :p

So the biblebashers couldn't even get Jesus' birthday right, yet they are so sure that what's in the bible is the absolute truth?
Also, it's funny how the "christian" right wing is acting against everything Jesus supposedly preached but still the church is ok with it...

Because of money do you think?

We tend to ignore religion of all types, unless you are Northern Irish here, seems to work so well there, oh perhaps not.

In the USA, religion is an industry. And churches are companies competing with each other. The one with the best offer gets the most customers, err, believers :)

If by they you mean all Christians, then no, most Christians don't believe everything in the bible is literally true. The "christian right wing" are ultimately a political group masquerading as faith, giving other Christians a bad name.

For those of you who don't know why Jesus had to die.

Well, it's true that the Romans would have preferred to stay out of what they considered an "internal affair" of the jews.

For what it's worth, I think JCS does a good job of putting forward an explenation as to why Jesus got crucified.

Because they're right. If the crowd had made him a 'king', that would rival Herod, and then the Romans would have went bananas.

An interesting interview with the lader of the New Apostolic Reformation a group of major Perry supporters. In short the guy is nuts, he thinks the Japanese Emperor had sex with the sun goddess and that is why Japan has been in the crapper over the last decade and their objective of infiltrating and taking over the "seven mountains" of society is distrubing.
