the people who got enzos are very rich....does this guy really think people will trade their enzos for some yacht???

Something tell me they aren't going to sell these.

Especially the CLK-GTR as it says the base price is US $1.5 million and it is currently only at US $400,100. A LONG way to go.

Although I do like the payment accepted methods...cash (in person)...and that is it.

So shall I just show up with a briefcase full of cash? Where are we to trade? Oh, in that dark alley, why not!

Do cars like this actually sell on eBay? I mean do people in the market for an Enzo or CLK-GTR sit there searching eBay to try and save some cash? All the people I know with hypercars go to specialist hypercar dealers, who call other hypercar dealers and find one for you.

that's quite a nice yacht tho ... but it is funny how he's "trading" a yacht for an enzo plus cash ... i only see those type of transactions in really ghetto "for sale" sections of car forums ... where people get rid of low end cars like honda civics that way ... it's surprising that someone who's rich (at least that's what i assume when you're taking about multi-million dollar yachts or supercars like the enzo)

i wonder how many people are on finalgear ... maybe if we ALL chip in ... we could ... put a down payment? hahahaha

interesting ... there's 9249 registered users on final gear ...

the enzo is at 900,000 (US) right now (yes yes, the reserve hasn't been met)

so if we get EVERYONE to pitch in ... 900,000 / 9249 = $97.31 USD, say $100 bux

c'mon people, $100 bux can get all of us a chance to drive (and own with 9248 other people) an enzo!

But who gets to store it? :shifty:

Let's be serious, what's more impressive?
"I have a multi-million dollar yacht."
OR
"I have a Ferrari Enzo."
;)

since when did the CLK-GTR come out in 1980?

That's easy! It'll be the official Final Gear Magazine (or whatever we name the magazine) car. It'll be the test drive of the year! We'll test the car, drive it around for a month or two, pass it off between members, and at the end of the year, have an auction and give the proceeds to charity. It will be the perfect thing to get our magazine on the map.

it's a tough job, but i'll take on the responsibility of storing it ;) hehe

it would be hard to say which one is more impressive, sure having an enzo is impressive to car enthusiasts such as ourselves, but to others, it could just be a car ... but a multi-million dollar yacht ... more of the general public would see that as a status symbol as opposed to a sports car ... to each their own

The yacht would cost MUCH more to run. Sure the Enzo wouldn't be cheap to maintain, but yacht generally cost 10% of their price to maintain, there for 10% of US $2 million would be US $200,000 a year!

On a serious note I would actually contribute $100 to getting the Enzo, and as I have ridden in one I would volunteer to store it and drive it regularly...for maintenance purposes of course  ....as long as I could have a drive before another member put it into a tree!

hehe .. some more stupid calculations ...

say we do get all 9249 people to pitch in $100 ... then we'd have to figure out a way to share it with everyone fairly ...

there's 365 days in a year (we need to find a country that will allow us to run the car all year baring any weather season) ... so ...

9249 / 365 = 26 people per day

24 hours in a day x 60 min = 1440 min per day

1440 / 26 = 55 min

So, if we all pitched in $100, every year, each of us can enjoy an Enzo for 55 min :D

That CLK

I agree with Janus though, somebody that owns and is selling a multimillion dollar car has to have the brains to do more research.

i think i've got it, I get the car, and then i'll throw a party and treat everyone to a FREE ice cream! $5 entry casual dress no sneakers jerseys or hats

^ Only if girls are there. Girls? GIRLS? LOLOLOL!!!! ;)

YF19, that sounds like a plan! We buy it and cover it in (removable) stickers, then blast through the countryside and scare cops and smash a speed camera or two. The resulting publicity will make us fortunes! (Or earn us countless lawsuits!)
