I figured not very many people have ever seen Andy in front of the camera and I suspect not all the people here are even aware that he used to be a presenter on old Top Gear.

So I got bored and started digging on YouTube and all sorts of great stuff was found. I'm even going to say Andy should do a review on current TG, I like his style, very natural and outspoken, but not as flamboyant and shouty as Jeremy.

There are a few more clips to be found, just type "Andy Wilman" in the YouTube search box. I would really really like him to give it a shot nowadays. So Mr. Wilman, if you're reading this....

Do it !! Do it now !!

Andy is the person to go to for nudity.
Hes done plenty of Top Gear Top-less

I didn't know he used to present, even though I've been watching the show for 15-20 years (when you're 9 you don't pay much attention to details).

For some reason I imagined him being a far more stern and stressed out man from Jeremy's descriptions of how hard he drove everyone ;)

It means a lot that he's been involved in the show for that long, that's the kind of person you want at the helm.

Excellent find. The one I really want to see is the time he was taken around Donnington (IIRC) as a passenger in Steve Parrish's Mercedes racing truck. I won't spoil it for anyone who finds it (I've looked and it's not there) but it's a gem.

You need to find the one where he walks around stark bollock naked with an Emu toy at a naked car show funnily enough.

ps I ain't gay or nowt :)

Be warned though, there are some other quite disturbing naked people in this clip. Not that naked Wilman is disturbing, but... well... watch it, you'll see what I mean.

Not if you're of a nervous disposition though.

He could easily fit in with the TG trio. (Well, he is in it already kinda) :p

Of course he'd fit with them. He made a huge influence in modern TG style. Maybe it wasn't entirely his creation, but he IS 'Mr.Big' after all. I love his style and I think TG would never be, not even close, so good without him. IMO JC is too raw to be the real brain of the show (he would really be an appalling PM:rolleyes:)

In the "Can you pull in it" - 'Claire' looks like that Jade Goodie

In the style of the Simpson's Comic Book Guy, 'I would like to withthdraw my previous statement'

Thought this was worth posting

The lady on the golf cart needs to have a law passed that she can never take off her clothes ever again.

I didn't check out the vids nor did I know of this guy til now; however I think TG is full on presenters imo. Another presenter will just clutter things up and there'd be even less Hammond/May stuff than there already is.

Next time you watch the show, I suggest you watch the credits...

Fixed that for you.

To add to Mr. Nice's post: Make sure you watch said credits all the way through.

Tbh thats when I turn it off (only producers I'm aware of are from Hollywood) but I did snipe this post with an edit after a quick google search. Gotta love forum topics - knowledge is power eh?

Not sure what you mean by "all the way through" but I did notice when they had those spoof credits - not sure how many episodes they did that for.

Last name on the screen. You should probably recognize it.

Haha I suppose - for my defense I have a very small post count relative to years registered although thats a weak one!
