i've had these athletics days in hong kong for 2 days already. its where the best 2 runners whatever of each event go to compete.

i got chosen for the 100m and got my ass whopped big time. i ran a 12.75 that day. pretty shit considering the best time was 10.91 (crazy). i ran a 12.22 b4 but was shitty hand timers so not trust worthy. the12.75 i ran was done by a lazer. i guess i can blame it on my 1st time and als othe pressure.

my start was uber i was like 4th or 5th but coz i am 2 years younger than most of the runners, they bigger so more top end speed.

our relay was today, we came 2nd last lol

any of u guys fast?

Don't think so, unless the people here have their foot on the throttle. :p

^Very well said Derek...

am only fast when a dog is behind me

I used to compete in sprinting, and I was pretty good. I would usually place in the top 5 in the track meets for the 100m and 200m, and in the top 10 for long jump and high jump. I have no idea what times I ran because I was more concerned about the placing.

I'm pretty sure I could run under 12 seconds for the 100m, but I'm better at the 200m because I have long legs.

It's just a guess though, because I really don't have any idea. I remember I ran a 13.5 or so when I was in grade 8, so who knows?

Running is cool though, I like the feeling of playing soccer and just flying by people when everyone is running one way down the field.

I think all members here HAVE ran at some point in their lifes. I remember having to run 6 laps around a track every year during high school, during which I usually walk 2 or 3 laps  .

I think I did better when the girl I liked was watching :p .

I have a ton of flashy basketball shoes, but I don't run anymore, so no spikes. I must have spent over a thousand dollars on shoes in a few years, what a waste of money.
