So I got a UKnova account (out of luck) thinking that I could grab (and seed) some other good British shows. Now I'm wondering what I should get since I'm not that familiar with anything besides Top/Fifth Gear. Any suggestions on what could be good?

TopGear and Fifth Gear are about it for the good motoring programs other than maybe Driven but thats been cancelled now, otherwise for other shows theres:

Red Dwarf

Black Adder

Little Britain

The Office

Rome

Dr Who

Panorama

Sahara with Michael Palin

Bo' Selecta

Teachers

Swiss Toni

Brass Eye

Sugar Rush

Dispatches

Father Ted

Peep Show

Shameless

Unreported World

The Fast Show

The League of Gentlemen

Forget about Fawlty Towers, The Office... They're all on DVD so will never be on uknova.

Dragons' Den is pretty good.

What is Little Britain? I heard them mention it on the last episode I watched.

Also.... how does Brainiac compare to Mythbusters (which RULES)?

Brainiac is centered around explosions, so it's not as "scientific" perhaps, but enjoyable, nonetheless. I'm actually getting season 3 as we speak :D

Hey, if you want series 1 and 2 let me know, I have them. I also have Brainiac History Abuse.

Keep the suggestions coming, i'm going to be looking to download a bunch of television soon, since i'll be travelling a lot.

If it is funny then it is worth it. Watching things get blown up is never boring. :)

I downloaded an ep of "The Gadget Show"; seems pretty decent if you like that sort of stuff (mp3 players, cell phones, etc. and everyone does these days).

"Should I Worry About..." It's hosted by Hammond, and although I've only seen one episode, it seems like an interesting show. :)

I determined tonight that, while cute, Brainiac is nowhere near as good as Mythbusters.

Brainiac is slightly repetitive repetitive. Oh and did I mention repetitive? :p

Could you repeat that?

As do I.

I love it too,

my favourite English shows are Peep Show, Coupling (got a bit lame in the end) , little Britain , and when I'm bored i always watch match of the day; English football.
