I might of buy a Apple Ipod Nano 2GB Black, is it worth it? I have been thinking about it for awhile.

Yes..

Well to see if something is worth it, you might want to consider the price you pay for it. I don't know the price, but it's probably worth it, yes. Or you might go for the 4Gb version (if there is any) because I think you don't pay a lot more for more Gb.

And by the way, Lilleput, that sig is just awesome. I know you have it for a long time, but it makes me laugh over and over again :)

If Style is important for you and you would be willing to pay a little more for the brand, the looks and ofcourse the size then buy it, if you dont really use Mp3 players that much just get some random 256 / 512mb noname player.

Jensked: It's funny couse you have done it!

GET A CASE RIGHT AWAY!!!!!

The ipod nano and video got the crappiest plastic coating i've never experience with. My video scratched soooo easily with the original case. Make sure you get something that is slim.

Get the 4gb, it's only $50 more. 2x the memory.

Agreed!

The new Nano and Video pods come with this clear plastic surface that was used on the original iPod when it first came out and it scratches like a bitch you just cheated on.
Especially with the black colour. I recommend getting a cover BEFORE even touching your iPod ok.

I recommend iSkin. They are definatly the best, a bit pricey though. Check em' out at www.iskin.com

the thing about hard plastic case is that it adds to teh bulk. I actually got myself the silicone case they sell at Axshop.com but that actually created more scratches on my case. I bought the ipod Sleevz from radtech and that one is so sleek, so light, fits my ipod like stalking on a fine swedish woman. I haven't really taken it out yet to see if it scratched more because i'm afriad of losing the elasticity on the sleeve.

my ipod is scratched like hell already. god i hate apple.

Battery life sucks on the video too. about 5 hrs of normal play(skip song here and there, change volume.. these all suck down the battery) and i'm already in the low red. ARGH!!!!!

The skins I pictured aren't hard or plastic. They are soft and rubberish :)

When i bought my Black Video iPod i got a leather'ish sleeve with it that i use it keeps it scratch free and is really thin, dont know if you get the same thing with the nano.

My husband got this and loves it. Get the clear casing with it though.

the things its so thin and small that u have to put a case on it
but the case defeats the thinness and makes it bigger and bulky

ya knows?
