Apple iPod Photo just released

A new iPod that looks exactly the same but with a color screen... now thats something worth upgrading to from my 3g iPod

I ordered it, but dont know if I want it yet though. Prices might go down. I told the guy in the shop that he could put in my order, and I'd pay him in November if I have the money. That was fine he said.

I hate having something "old" like my cam for instance, I stopped liking it cause it's old.. and I can't sell it, I'd lose too much money. And now this. DAMMIT

not that good, you can't transfer directly from a camera... unless you buy an addon like in the previous gen ones

so now they have 4 models in the ipod lineup!

Me neither really. Its all priorities. I don't think the iPod is worth as much as it costs. It is if I use it a lot, but I don't know if I will.

Yeah, I spent all my money on my computer (over $2k ) which is fine by me. Rather spend it on this than an iPod.

2k? Thats not to bad. I understand it's a rather good one? I guess you dont really need an Mp3 player as long as you don't have a car to use it in.

I never really found the use of iPods.... they were too bulky to take around and i never needed that many songs... I've always prefered my 128mb mini-mp3 players

but my mini is enough for what I need, 4gb is more than enough.

and I use it almost everyday! 8)

^ This new iPod is sort of pointless. What use is looking at pictures on your iPod screen? If it had video playback capabilities, then I'd be interested, but as for now, it's just an iPod with an inflated price and a few inconsequential added features. :?

see.. they are good if your at school like in my case.. and have a lot of waking to do.. but i dont need 60GB to walk 10 minutes

i'd rather just reup whatever music i want in the beginning of the day in a little 128MB mp3 player..

but i dont even use the 128mb.. i just walk in silence lol

I think they've really fucked up on this new iPod - even more reason to buy an iHP iRiver or even better (in my opinion) the Rio Karma

That is simply not true - The Rio Karma outdoes it in every department except for style. The iPod is for people who want style over function. Not me!
