Are the Best of episodes worth watching?

As the thread says.... are they worth watching?
Plus is there a list for the "Best of..." episodes (with their contents)?

I know of the normal episodes listed in the sticky thread above, but its very difficult to find a list for the "Best of..." and what their contents are.

The "Best of" episodes are just some clips from the series, nothing new, so if you've seen all episodes it's not worth watching.
 
^Yep thats right. ALWAYS re-run footage. Nothing new.

There isn't actually a "Best of..." guide however if you need to know whats on a particular Best of episode, we can help you out somehow.
 
I've noticed the other day that Porsche Carrera GT test was a bit reedited for "The Best of...", reedited in positive way. 8)
And there's the same story with earlyer "Best of", the Jaguar XKRR and Aston Martin DB7 GT test, music is changed a bit.

So if you're hot to watch it, go on.

Though I do have one other question, are the 'Best of....' only one epsiode (per-season/series)? Or are there several episodes (per-season/series)?

I recall reading somewhere in this forum that the 'Best of...' might comprise of several episodes. Oh here's the thread.

Now they are doing them at the end of each calender year however in the earlier series )2002-03, they would have one after each series...so around 2 a year.

They do like their Best Of programmes, don't they. :lol:

Thats the first time they've done a Best of episode dedicated to a specific theme. They've already done their normal Best of for 2005. I guess its because they had such a short series 7 they still have slots for their program so they compile old footage and run that.
 
If there is a BEST episode of TG, I'd recommend Season7 Episode4 "Bugatti Veyron", The Car of The Year and of the motor history.
 
I should defend the site, at least one of the best of shows is supposed to have new material in it.

I do accept that:

1) The show has not yet materialised
2) Doesn't actually have _that much_ new in it.

But hey, I can only go on what I'm told, and what is accurate at the time.

Plans change :)
