I think they have. I remember seeing sth about it on the Meet the Neighbours Italy ep.
 
Ah the Italians. If they build something it doesn't necessarily mean that there's any demand for it. Some local mayor probably decided that his good friend the contractor who inadvertently got in debt needed a contract.

:lmao: So true... It's such a shame that we portuguese only get that part, without the italian girls and their sense of style... :(

Maybe they are built to fine "unstylish" cars. Italians don't want their roads damaged by ugly boxes on wheels.
