Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Information/Trailer

Practice

do the virtual training levels, its handy

^
Might try them later, later because as usual climbing an inferno tower. Theres no where else to go but up, but Ezio decides to jump to his death. <_<

Sometimes you have to press X to climb up the towers, sometimes you don't.
Still prefer the multiplayer, it's really unique.

I got the Da Vinci edition this week and have been playing it quite hard, I'm really enjoying the single player. The fact that there is so much stuff to do is awesome, because I get more gameplay time out of it and don't have to advance through the main story as quickly. I have 8 recruits trained to assassin level at segment 6 already. Having arrow storm and crossbow make the progress through the game easier compared to the previous ones. I really like to use crossbow for stealth mission, to snipe guards watching from up high.

I bought the game the first day it came out. I beat it awhile back. One thing I was worried about b4 the game came out was that Ubisoft was going to skip out on the single player to focus on the multiplayer. And.... thats exactly what happened. I enjoyed the single player but felt it was short and was lacking something. It seemed like certain aspects of the campaign were designed and thought up at the end of a Friday and the developers just said "Fuck it, good enough".

I wish they didn't even bother with the multiplayer. Seriously, how many people buy AC just to play the mulitiplayer?? Few if any, especially since AC brotherhood came out a week or so after Black Ops. Assassin's Creed 2 was a masterpiece and I doubt Ubisoft will make another AC as good. I enjoyed brotherhood but thought it could have been A LOT better.

The multiplayer is still one of the most unique and fun multiplayer experiences you can have.
It keep you on edge constantly, you're blending in and then bam, some fucker poisons you.

..................

Regarding the singleplayer, I have no idea whats going on. Names are mentioned, they mean nothing. Finished two missions this morning, the first was carry that red chick. <_< Followed by carry the white chick. <_<
We all hate escort missions, but those two were fucking annoying. Doubly so back-to-back.

I do & don't agree with you on this one...

I do agree that the story feels mega rushed and towards the end it's like "Wtf is happening?" as it kept on jumping from pillar to pillar, I was expecting something a bit more dramatic with Cesare, like he was going to mortally wound Ezio or better yet kill him. That would have been epic, seeing as we apparently won't be meeting Ezio again, it would be fitting for him to earn his rest, but taking Cesare with him.

And again, I don't agree.. because before the game's release Ubisoft themselves said many things like "This isn't AC3" and "This is a multiplayer game with a story mode added into it". Not to mention, they had under a year to prepare all this.
The main purpose of the game was to get you into the idea that Abstergo are creating Assassin's in the hundreds, ready for a big war.

But yes, I do kno wwhat you mean by the mad rushed story. It had some great bits but it just jumped about sooo much.

To make certain people angrier...

Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Assassin's Creed: Revelations is an upcoming video game in the Assassin's Creed franchise to be developed and published by Ubisoft. Throughout the course of the game, three playable characters will be featured: Alta?r, Ezio and Desmond. The game is set to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2011. [2]

It's Ezios last game.

I think this is the last of the '2' games, and 3 will be after this.

Apologies for the bump, I bought this game a couple of weeks back when i found it had been reduced in price and i've been working my way through the game. completely loving every moment of it. It has its moments where it makes me want to tear my hair out and scream at the wall.

The destruction of the villa at the start of the game was completely unexpected. Especially after i had invested so much time in building it up in AC2. It felt a lot like when the Normandy went up in flames at the start of Mass Effect 2. Which is a sign of a good game. taking something electronic and made up of data bytes and turning it into something else. Having unlocked the part where i can start recruiting assassins has made it unbelievably easy. At the moment all i'm doing is either sending them off on missions or having them attack random guards so that they lvl up. I didn't get the crossbow until a few levels in and as such found a few moments of the game fairly tricky. Having now got it, along with the gun and the poison dart. Its allowed me to do long range kills with my assassins and ranged weaponry.

I'm yet to play the Multiplayer of the game since i'm mostly doing the Single Player campaign at the moment and want to get it finished before Assassins Creed Revelations comes out. So i'll end up trying that out after completing the actual game itself.

Only problems i have with the game is the odd moment where i have Ezio jump off a wall missing my intended destination. Aiming is a bit off but nothing disastrous and nothing that hampers my enjoyment of the game. If anything, due to playing this game. i find myself remembering the odd bits of italian (requiescat in pace is one example thats stayed stuck in my head).

Also, i've started listening to the soundtracks of the games and i'm really liking the soundtracks to Assassins Creed 2 and Assassins Creed: Brotherhood. Some great music work there.

Yes, I had many issues with jumping, throughout the AC series. It was horrendous in AC1, and has gotten better, but I still find it has many issues, and after 3 games, I just don't see why it's still finicky, at least for me. But the rest is pretty good, and I really enjoyed the offline as well.

My biggest complaint, by far, is the multiplayer. They need to work on connections, loading, ranks, the horribly "unreachable" errors, and random disconnects. That stuff better be ironed out for Revelations. I'm rather disappointed they're adding "prestige" to the rank system. Doesn't really need it imo.

I actually just wrapped up all the online trophies for the platinum trophy, after a near 5 month hiatus from the game. Absurd stuff to do for those. And I'm sure it will only get worse for Revelations. I absolutely LOVE the offline stories in the AC games, but I wish the multiplayer trophies/achievements were toned down. Not everyone wants to do those, or is good enough. But oh well. Ubi won't alter from that, they want more people playing AC for much longer.
