Audi fans rejoice! \o/

What's with the front grille on the newer Audis and VWs, huh ?

I can't stand the tall chromy grilles. A nice example of the horrible styling is the newer Jetta.

Obviously an attempt to integrate the location for a front mounted european license plate, but in chrome ? !

Same attempt but without the huge chrome piece. :|

Almost as bad as the square, flat, billboard looking location for the Nissan badge on some of their models.

I guess it's a cycle. A few years ago, cars didn't have a front grille anymore. Chevy Cavalier anyone ?

It seems to me the idea of the tall, big grille is back with a vengeance. :?

I know, I know... I drive one of them.
But you won't see me decking it out with chrome pieces.

:puke:

So the AllRoad will stay in production and be renewed.
How much will they go for ?
For those who have the money to afford one and need the room, they are a pretty nice vehicle for our canadian winters.

But I think I would prefer a WRX wagon, if I had the money. A little less a luxury car and a little more on the sporty side. ;)

Oh dear... :( Another huge mommy wagon to take the kids to school.... :bangin:

It's the size of an A6, it's not that huge.

And the grill is just the new corporate face, that's all. :)

Some grills I like, some I don't.

Like I like the one on the new Audi's.

I agree, I really like the way the Audi grill looks. The allroad is a pretty formidible car, as I have seen some video of it going places normal station wagons (estates) would never hope of going.
