[Australia] Top Gear Live - get your tickets now!

The Acer Arena websit has the seating plan up with what kinda seats youll get for your money.

Thanks for that.
Acer arena is also huge so the cheap seats will be so far away you won't see anything.
That is true.

Anything behind the BLACK on that diagram is VERY elevated and totally different to anything in front of it.

I personally wouldn't sit anywhere behind the BLACK as it'd be a waste of my money. Funny how those seats are "Gold" and "Silver" haha....

Platinum tickets seem like the best value. They're $120 a pop, but it seems like you'll see a lot more there than you would in the pov seats way up the back. And as much as I'm a fanboy of the TG guys, I dunno if I can justify $250 for 75 minutes of Clarkson and Hammond. I'd really love to but I just can't ...

If you're not a TGA subscriber but you have a Visa card, you're in luck. The ticket window for 'Visa Entertainment' customers opens on 17/10, which is still a few days before the masses get a crack at tickets. You just need to register at the Visa Entertainment site first.

What is the address for the pre-sale?!?

I've subscribed and been given a password but I can't find where to go.

Nevermind, found it.

I bought my tickets today. Platinum tickets in section 7 for the Friday 8PM show.

Really couldn't justify anymore cost considering the show is only 75 minutes and it is already going to cost a great deal to get to and stay in Sydney.

For anyone wanting to order tickets the pre-order password is "spectacular".

I think i have been a bit ambitious to go to the show. It would be at least 800 dollars total if I wanted to go.

Did it say what the difference is between Diamond and Platinum - other than the seats being a little closer?

For $250 per ticket for a 75 minute show you would want to meet Clarkson and Hammond...although I seriously doubt it.

But no, I can find nothing on exactly what the Diamond seats get.

is there more to this show then just going for 75mins?

from what I gather looking at the Platinum package you get:

"Access to Prestige & Performance Motor Show
Paddock Tour where you will see all the behind-the-scenes activity
Access to the VIP Enclosure
Two course meal and four complimentary drinks (Beer, Wine & Soft Drinks)
Refreshments served all day (Pastries, Cakes, Tea & Coffee)"

The Refreshments all day kind of makes it feel like there is more to this then just a 75min show?

me and my mates wanna drive up from Melbourne. But I dont wanna drive for 6 hours to only go to a 75min show....

whats the go?

Well I assume you can spend as much time as you like at the Prestige & Performance Motor.

the top gear live website recommends you get there 1 hour before the show to go to the Prestige & Performance Motor part.

There is no mention that I can find about all these deals. Where they only on offer for the UK shows?

Thanks for the password Janus

Have booked 2 platinum tickets for myself + girlfriend. I would've gone diamond if it was just myself going, however with 2 flights to Sydney, hotel for the night (and maybe we'll make a weekend of it, stay Friday and Saturday nights) etc it'll be expensive enough as it is.

I just don't want to pass up the opportunity to see the boys in action, as I lived in the UK for 4 years and was unable to get tickets to the show in that time, I don't want to miss out this time.
