Yes, he did... In 2010 he competed in an "as good as road legal" 997 GT3 RS and finished it a respectable 13th over all.

Once again, I rather see it in a barn than with a LSx, sounding just like all the other bazillion american cars. It's such an obvious swap.

I'd rather see a beautiful car on the road with an engine swap than sent to the scrapyard. And maybe it's an obvious swap for a reason which all of us here already know.
