Awesome Thread

^That is so fantastic. Seriously. Not only is it excellent war technology, but it's verging on video game ideas.

I love living in the future! :D

I hate phantom pages. Damn you Atlantian!

Man I wish Audi, Porsche, Peugeot, Lancia, and Renault were still in the WRC, heck add Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi and Mini to that list. That video makes me happy, but I think it saddens me more.

The day Group-B videos stop giving me goosebumps I want to shoot myself.

Thinking of the heroes that gave it all and are not with us anymore brings a tear in my eye. Call me silly, but that video is strong stuff.

^ Agreed, we need more 600hp fiberglass & kevlar coffins..

11 minutes' worth of ear-melting distilled Group B awesomeness.

But still I don't get it, man, in those days most of the rallying was doing some 150 - 200 km/h in a narrow tunnel made of live, walking, talking, loving, fu*king, people meat!

An accident and minimum 20 people dead.

its not the speed ,cars ,drivers or organizators folts ppl were stupid to stand there on the damn road. let me ask would you stand on the road if you hear masive engine roar coming towards you, i dont think so ... rally is a motor sport and motor sport costs lives track races are safier for spectators not for drivers and even now in other groups ppl are still dying

group b :
driver and co driver died

Sorry for going so far of topic

^ That's the first time I saw any footage related to Henri Toivonen's accident. That's a HORRIBLE way to die. :( And the tone of the voices of the Lancia crew says everything.

in some documentary (don't remember which one), one of the drivers is telling that it was only on certain points that there were so much people, and the drivers knew where they are, and they all backed down a bit on these sections to prevent accidents

if that's backing down

there was 2 ppl in the road so driver hard turned to right and lost control and the festival began

:shock2::shock::eek:

thats insane!

I tried that in an Extra 300 in Microsoft Flight Simulator, and I was killed to death pretty quickly

that Jet trainer is a lot faster than an Extra 300.

I know what you mean. Simulators seem to make the canyon smaller, though, probably due to resolution. It's at least a visual problem from the resolution.
