how are those tracks driven? friction between a rubber belt and the tire?
or do the wheels turn some form of generator that makes the track rotate? (if it's possible to do that in such a small setup)

Looks like friction, thought not with the rubber belt but 2 metal rollers. Found this video of a close up of the units.

No problem - as you can see there is a frame which is smaller than the TV with two openings to move the TV from one side to the other. Just make sure the TV sits flush against the frame and you're good.

But it's pretty cool, although I'd probably just buy a second TV because I'm lazy and maybe cutting up a door or two would cost me a similar amount of money. And my landlord wouldn't be too thrilled about it either. :lol:
