"I'm relevant!" screamed HD into the void.

Indian only had two bikes in the race, both podiumed in 1st and 3rd. HD was 2nd, and made up the entire rest of the field with 3 DNFs. Race rules limit entries to either the Indian Bagger or Touring and the HD FL Touring.

I'd love to see someone go out there with a Goldwing or an ST1300 and just mop the floor with these lazy twins.

That high speed sway... :shock2:

While watching, I was wondering why there were no Japanese entries...

I enjoyed that. Something to be said for hustling a totally inappropriate machine around a track.

I believe so, but they likely got limited sponsorship. HD's sponsorship deal with the XR1200 series was pretty nice from the rider's perspective because they were desperate to get anyone to ride their garbage.
