Band Recommendation

Hi guys,


I need new bands to listen to, so feel free to recommend any band that you think i will like...

What i've been listening to lately:

-Black Label Society (my favorite band)
-Motorhead
-Zakk Wylde's solo work
-Ozzy Osbourne
-Rise Against

So, basically i like hard rock, heavy metal and a little bit of Punk Rock...

Do you guys know any bands/artists similar to the ones listed above?
 
I've been listening to a lot of Volbeat lately. Seems to be inline with what you like

Lola Montez is my favorite song by them

It looks like it is a good band but is still not the kind of music i'm looking for, the guitar solos are pretty nice but for some reason i don't like Michael Poulsen's voice very much and to me the lyrics are a bit weird...

My coworker's boyfriend is in this band, and they've actually opened for BLS.

 
It's not bad but the singer's voice is not very good in my opinion and the guitar solo could be better...

Don't give up guys i know you can help me!

Sabaton. Most of their songs are about soldiers and war, although this isn't one of them.

Some of these may be borderline too heavy, but these are the bands I think of when I think Motorhead, but modern.

But this is real music!

If you don't like hard rock, heavy metal or punk rock so what the hell do you like? Crappy pop music, country, jazz, blues? All pop songs are awful, is very hard to find a decent country song and jazz/blues are music for old people:p

Never heard of any of those bands (except Pantera) but i will try to listen to some of their songs later:)

Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

Of all the bands suggested here the one i liked more is Audioslave (thanks XYZviper!) but all the other suggestions were great too. Right now i downloaded the Audioslave discography and i'm also listening to some bands i discovered today like Epica (Dutch symphonic metal band) and Eluveitie (Swiss folk metal band).

I'm still accepting other suggestions:)
 
Have you heard any pre-Painkiller Judas Priest? What about Def Leppard's first album (On Through The Night)? What about Iron Maiden or Manowar?
 
Nice to hear that You liked them. I have all the original CD from them. There are only 3, but all of them are great and a bit diferent in their own way. I like them all.

I think i will like Soundgarden because the singer is the same from Audioslave :)

I already heard some songs from Rage Against the Machine, System Of Down and Pearl Jam before and didn't like their songs very much, later i will try to listen to some Alice In Chains and Bad Religion to see if i like.

There is a heck of a lot between various forms of rock music and plastic, bubblegum pop aimed at teenagers and pre-pubescents that doesn't involve stetsons, syncopation or a 12 bar lick. I have a wide and varied taste but it doesn't cover the type of stuff that sees people with long hair and black T-shirts play air guitar in their bedrooms.
