Does anyone know of a program that will do a batch image resize or do I have to do all my photos manually?

I have a heap of photos that I want to e-mail, but a 75MB file is a bit large, so I need to shrink them down. I really can't be buggered doing them one by one though.

Thanks in advance!

photoshop will let you make your own batch image resize by recording a macro. what you would do is on the right side, there is a toolbox named actions. you use this for the macro recording. have a picture open, click record, do the resize that you want, then stop recording. you can then run this for all of your pictures. hope that helped you.

perfect matt shaw! Thanks!

Yep, I just use the windows XP thing that Matt posted. The quality of the resized pictures isn't great, but it's really fast and easy to use. I find that it's fine if you're just e-mailing the pictures to somebody.

I use Photoshop Elements for this. It has a "Process Multiple Files" feature right on the File menu. The quality is what you'd expect from Photoshop: top notch.

You've got to have that installed!
i use that one, too. you mustn't forget to enable that resample function under advanced options in IV though, otherwise the quality will suffer.
