I read an article in a Norwegian carmag where they had the above cars tested up against each other.

They tested: 0-100 km/h + 0-200 km/h + 0-300 km/h
brakelength, handlingcourse (1600 mtrs) in seconds, level of noise while at 300 km/h (db) and top speed (lots of other stuff, but on those tests-the cars were quite the same)

Now, this is what surprised me the most:

0-200 km/h
Bentley C.G.T: 17.2 sec
DB9 : 16.7 sec
Gallardo : 12.5 sec
SLR : 10.7 sec
Porsche C.G.T: 10.7 sec
Enzo : 10.3 sec

0-300 km/h
DB9 : 74.6 sec
Bentley C.G.T : 67.2 sec
Gallardo : 37.6 sec
Porsche C.G.T : 34.2 sec
SLR : 30.6 sec
Enzo : 26.1 sec

Noise at 300 km/h
Bentley C.G.T : 61.6 db
DB9 : 58.8 db
SLR : 57.5 db
Gallardo : 55.8 db
Enzo : 55.0 db
Porsche C.G.T : 53.9 db

Top Speed
DB9 : 309 km/h
Bentley C.G.T : 323 km/h
Gallardo : 330 km/h
SLR : 334 km/h
Porsche C.G.T : 334 km/h
Enzo : 355 km/h

So, I guess Enzo is greatest of these when it comes to speed then?
What do you guys think of these results?
The Bentley disapoints, and the Enzo impresses. Or?

(Corrections has been made; Gallardo is now Murcielago-which is the correct Lambo...sorry for mistake.)

Seems like the Norwegians stole this article from our German "auto, motor und sport"-mag!
The results are exactly the same and we already had them in may...

yeah, probably common to "sell" tests of that size ..

What the hell is a Gallardo doing competing with an Enzo... :?

Anyway, I pick the Porsche CGT. In my opinion, the best modern supercar.

The Murcielago would be more suited, I agree. But the Gallardo is actually not slow around a track, and can keep up with supercars like the ones above.

I think the DB9 and Gallardo are in the same class.....not as a Carerra GT. I pick Carerra GT. I think the DB9 and Gallardo are more fairly compared with a Ferarri 550 and Porsche 911 Turbo.

I think haz made a mistake there. It has to be the Murcielago.
(e.g. the Gallardo doesn't do 330 km/h, the Murcielago does)

This was pretty tough decision. Before i had watched the Fast Cars movie i would have chosen the CGT in a second, but that film gave me a hole new idea of Ferrari. I know they are good in what they do, but didn't realize that they spend so much time doing research on making the cars more reliable and suitable for everyday driving too. So Enzo would probably be better in summer cruisings, but then again it doesn't look as good as the CGT does. Hmm... but still Porsche knows also how to make excellent cars too and even it looks like it isn't as fast as the Enzo is i will choose the CGT. Mainly the decision was made by the looks of these cars, because can't compare them any better without a test drive (and that probably happens only in my wildest dreams :) ).

You're wrong, I read the article from a Norwegian mag called "motor & bil", which is a Norwegian edt. of the German carmag called "motor, auto und sport".
It also showed pics of all 6 cars, and I can see the difference between a Murcielago and a Gallardo. Ait?

Ok, seems like your car mag used the wrong pics/text.

"auto, motor und sport" compared the DB9, the Continental GT, the Enzo, the SLR, the Carrera GT and the Murci?lago. (I got the magazine right in front of me.)
The results you posted for the Gallardo are for the Murci?lago! They are exactly the same! (0-200, 0-300, top-speed, etc.) It is simple to proof you/the magazine wrong: the gallardo can't do 330!
"Ait?"

That's weird!
Why would they use pics. of the Gallardo then? I mean I believe you of course, I was also stunned by the Gallardos performance compared to the other supercars but...

haz

Mmmhh, seems like your mag made a big mistake copying the article...

Here are the results of the "auto, motor und sport":
click!
(the Gallardo only does 309 km/h)

PS: "ams" has a TV-show, they featured this test too.

^^I saw that^^

carrera gt is the most sophisticated supercar made...it is the best the fastest..
did you guys knew that ferrari and porsche made a trade of the enzo and the carrera gt for a month..they testers at ferrari tested for 1month the carrera gt and the opoosite...and the conclusion:the enzo is more friendly in a daily use and the carrera gt is ultimate as far as handling cornering....
