Battlefield 3

I got it. We go into a server and start saying things like "You shot me because I'm white." and "So what if I like tea and scones? Next you'll ask me to do your taxes for you."
 
I don't think tdm is all that bad. I actually love going to firestorm or kharg and using my M40A5 or recently unlocked M98b without a scope. Throw on a laser pointer and its an epic class. It takes some serious skill to outshoot an assault class at medium range using the stock iron sights but its tremendously fun.

And only recently I had a go at being a healing assault class. Was at metro and I was reviving like crazy but the funniest thing was I would put a health kit in the choke points where everybody was fighting and then shoot everyone else's. It was awesome.and I was getting 450+ points from a single kit.

rofl, got my first autokick. I got shot out of the heli, and since there's obviously no indication the gunner always thinks you just bailed so he called me (completely unwarrantedly) a pussy and I told him to fuck off. *kicked for playing on a fail server* Why did "pussy" not incur a script kick? Lame.

hehe, Johnny I got warned by an admin once for saying honkeytonk piano and asking if that was racist. Some admins will kick you, but I still haven't seen any scripts that include white "slurs".

I like the people who complain when you shoot them with weapon X. And somehow killing and generally being way more awesome than them somehow makes me a noob? Have these people even grasped the definition of logic?

Fuck these people too! I was using frag round in my 870 and all this one guy did was bitch about it. He didn't grasp the fact that I was going to kill him even if I only had buck shot in. I was getting very close to everyone I was attempting to kill. I love the suppression factor of it with longer engagements. I may not get a kill, bit keeps them disorientated enough so I can get out of there. There is that luck head shot with it once in a while.
 
In a game like Battlefield people will always find weapons that they think are OP. If they then nerf gun X and gun Y, the 3rd "best" gun will then be OP. It just leads to a a circle of nerfs.

That being said, I will agree that there is some truth to the USAS12 with frag rounds on the consoles being kinda OP (they already nerfed it on PC right?). I played with it for a couple of days, and when going back to the normal assult/support/eng. weapons they just felt like pea shooters.

Maybe because I'm not colourblind but I can't see anything if I turn that on. Messes with my brain.

That's colorblind mode. It really helps keep things clear even if you're not colorblind.

On another note: I can't stand being the only one trying to win on maps. I was just on Operation Firestorm in a small game (7-10 players per team) and I could tell I was the only one on my team actually trying to take points. And it's really hard being an assaulting recon when the other team brings 2 tanks and an AA gun out whenever you start capping a point. I still find it amazing I was able to "disable" both M1A1s before they killed me.

However, that game solidified it for me: Recon is, by far, the best class. The spawn point and position sensor basically allow you to be a one-person squad. With a UMP or an SKS you have pretty much all ranges covered too. (It probably should be noted, I'm coming at this from only playing hardcore modes)
