Battlefield: Bad Company 2

I use 12x on most sniper rifles cause i only bother to sniper on larger maps, personally sniper class should be locked to everyone under level 24, because they always take it thinking they are gonna get big monies on it, i use sniper when i want a slower pace game, other than that it's m14/g3/shotgun with recon always, a forward recon is one of the strongest classes in both support and frontline

You can play a pretty mean combat recon with the VSS as well, I love that thing. Apart from the fact that it chews through ammo like crazy.
Bolt action sniper rifles with 4x scope can be a lot of fun too, but that one's a lot harder to pull off.

Wow!

Gold star is 5k, that's probably what you got

I managed a bit less, partly cause i was spamming the M3A3, but also because RJ wouldnt clear the mines at the end :p

Good rush game

"Combat Score" is the only thing that really matters from those screenshots. I've had stupidly high award scores just because I happened to get my XXXth kill or whatnot that round.

in that case i'd just go for shotgun with slugs... serves exactly the same purpose imho.

i do that a hell of a lot, which is how i platinumed the USAS and am doing the same with the Saiga

Dunno if anyone else does this, but i never keep one kit or even one set of kit throughout a game, i usually use different weapons if i have to depending on situations and even different kits, f/e i need to help clear a building, if i just died, switch from engineer to recon, use motion mines, arm a shotgun, c4 instead of mortar, then if we're done with that, i might switch back to assault or engineer depending on the tank/people approaching, i just dont get people who stick to one kit and one set all the time, especially if they keep dying at it

I didn't know there were mines, I was too busy fixing the M3A3 from rocket blasts.

5000 of those points were some kind of medal/award thing milestone. So really its only a 5850 pt. game.

Compared to the 75-100 points I am getting, I feel useless!

Lol, thats not that bad, there's a reason I haven't admitted my overall KDR on here and am not planning on it anytime soon... I've mostly been getting around 1.0 in individual games lately, but overall it's still pretty awful <_<

Also, I like to play as recon with the Thompson. Mafia Wookies FTW.

Well, I?ve been playing for a few hours. I honestly didn?t expect to be better than this without a few hundred more.

I usually only switch if there is a big need for something. Like if a tank is killing the whole team and no one does anybody I switch to engineer to destroy it myself or if no one is dropping ammo I'll switch to assault. But in general I play the same class/loadout because it takes a while before I get a feel for the weapons. Especially with something like long range sniping or AT4 it takes a while before I get in to the groove and start using them to their full potential.

I've never played better on assault than this round, but paired with the most useless team ever. One was a medic the whole time who did nothing but camp and throw grenades randomly. Fucking useless, but I guess people would feel that way about me too.

Here's an engineer round, where we won on Rush but were down to the last station and it was armed.
