The BBC will offer some of it's content online via Azureus's Zudeo. This could mean that we could here in the US download the UK version of the show! Full story here : http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/6194929.stm
Another determening factor: Will it contain DRM? Will you be aloved to watch it without having a man from beeb humping you in the arse?
Where have you been the last couple of years, sunshine? Quite a large number of the CDs on the market today comes with DRM.Yes it will. It's to prevent people from sharing it

Well, I could download high quality videos in a widely-accepted standard format that's not crippled with DRM and doesn't contain a rootkit; all from an online community that treats me like their friend. BUT! Instead, I could pay money, get crappy service and have my computer turn itself against me?? Well, sign me up! [/cynical sarcasm]So the BBC will be offering tv shows online for me to download, like I already do, if I pay some sort of fee. OKAAAAAYYYYY.....
