BBC shows even more stupidity

I don't understand why they don't just release all 22 series (including Series 1), of the BBC broadcasts, on DVD. I've bought all that are commercially available, 10-21 (22 on order) from the BBC America broadcast, and 19 and 20 from the BBC broadcast (these are the only series I've seen on DVD from the BBC broadcast). While I hate to give BBC any more money, I'd be more than willing to shell out $$$$ for good quality, BBC original broadcasts of all episodes.
