This one is old... but i still like it

It's a reference to the german version of the BMW slogan "BMW sheer driving pleasure"... (BMW - Freude am Fahren)

So it says that also a mercedes can bring that to you. :p I think thats funny

I've never seen that ad - any Aussies know if it actually aired?

Awesome ad - pity it'd be shot down in a flash by the wowsers here, and yes, the fact kids are driving in it would be one of the reasons for that (no really, this actually happened with another ad). F#ckers.

I don't think they aired the one where the women were attracted to the ute for very long as many lensil eating lesbians started complaining about it.

I like the old Rolls-Royce slogan, "The best car in the world"

That.
Is the best ad. Ever. I've listened to it many times on my home theater, and on my PC headphones, and I never, EVER get old of the sounds. They're so unique. The Cayenne is big, mean, the Carerras are raw, the Boxter is meh, and the GT2 is just... sounds like it could rip your head off.
Those sounds..... give me goosebumps in places they shouldn't.
I forget whose slogan it is, but it's something like "When you turn on the car, it should turn you on"

I prefer to think the 911, Boxster etc are laughing at the Cayenne when they 'respond'.

The new two-hundred-and-fifty horsepower Nissan Maxima. It can outrun DEATH!

And here's a couple more from Cadillac I really liked - they're showing off their long and usually proud heritage, but even showing a couple of cars that weren't so well received. Cadillac is right to be proud of their history, overall - the only car company that's been around longer is Mercedes.

They seem confused about that heritage though - one vid claims 'Since 1902', the other 'Since 1903'. Eh?

I think one is an earlier version of the ad, and they corrected it. 1902 is the correct date.

From Wikipedia:

Cadillac was formed from the remnants of the Henry Ford Company when Henry Ford departed along with several of his key partners and the company was dissolved. With the intent of liquidating the firm's assets, Ford's financial backers, William Murphy and Lemuel Bowen called in engineer Henry M. Leland to appraise the plant and equipment prior to selling them. Instead, Leland persuaded them to continue the automobile business using Leland's proven 1-cylinder engine. Henry Ford's departure required a new name, and on August 22, 1902, the company reformed as the Cadillac Automobile Company.

Mercedes ads in the US will also get the Mercedes start date wrong, occasionally.

Sorry to bump this thread from the 2nd page, but I though this advert deserves mentioning:
