Best Getaway Car?

For some reason i started thinking about what cars could be the good getaway cars. As I see it a getaway car needs to be fast, handle extremely well, carry a passenger/hostage and have a strong road presence. Price doesn't come into the equation cause you would most likely steal the car and dump it after "The Job"

with that in mind i came up with these cars:

-BMW M3
-BMW M5, new or old one
-Porsche 997 Turbo
-Porsche Cayman S. But people would think you couldn't afford to steal a 911 :lol:
-Ferrari 360CS
-Audi RS4, the V8 one
-2006 Subaru WRX, so ugly the cops wouldn't want to chase you

Anything else to add to the list?
 
cayanne turbo... uglier than the wrx but just as fast and holds more stolen cash
 
^ disagree with all the above... what u need is something discrete, so it can get lost in traffic. therefore i would suggest something small, lightweight, accellerates well and would not attract attention.

im thinking of a hot-hatch... dunno which one though... perhaps a VR6 golf?

You'd want something that can look as inconspicuous as possible while being an utter monster under the hood, so an M3 or M5 would be good choices. Also depends how many people were on the job, more and you'll need 4 doors. Location would matter too. In the city, a Skyline, looks relaticely normal and would handle the streets with lots of sharp turning and acceleration very well in any weather.
 
If I'm getting away solo then I'll take a ZX-10R. I could ride down alleys, split lanes, and accelerate away from cops very quickly.

If you have cargo to carry; Cayenne Turbo or Merc E55AMG Estate

If you wanted a fast yet inconspicuous exit; Lexus IS300 (old)

Somthin 2 make a Hollywood "burnin rubber" exit; Ford SVT Mustang (old) or one of those big American familiy cars that cops drive
 
There is always the Mini? either new or old....preferably old with an engine swap and sports suspension 8)
 
Cadillac Escalade with the a supercharged 6.0L V8 with high-performance suspension and 26" rims, all the performance and road presence (it's bloody huge!) you need. ;)

As for actual cars :)P), an E46 BMW 3-series estate with M3 engine and suspension, plenty fast and tons of space in the back.

Cheap to buy, REALLY cheap to make FAST in all conditions, rain, snow, summer tarmac ect.

Well lets see, it would have to be 5 door to allow your troops, big enough boot to hold a reasonable amount of stolen booty, and subtle enough that you'd lose the police a bit easier (preferably something fairly common in a common colour). Well in UK I'd say a ford mondeo st220 in silver, in US probably something japanese, or if your in new york, a yellow cab would definately be what I'd choose :p

As for those who said go more a beamer m3 or m5, I'd think you'd be better off in a slightly less conspicuous, though still high powered bmws.

Fast as fuckin hell, enough space and 4 doors which means you can toss the bags with money quickly in the back, it has endless amounts of grip on most surfaces and it looks like it will kill you 8)
