And this...

An unbelievably expensive carrier bag.

Worst colour ever, but it has the extra boost!

Rare...even if it does look like a kit car.

Seriously, is everything legal in Europe?

How the hell can you get a registration for a car like this? :? :? :? :?
The weirdest thing I have ever seen on the road here in UK was open wheel race car. Looked a lot like an Indy car
Mansell_cart.jpg

Unfortunately I saw it in heavy traffic on the way to my friends house. I wonder if that was his daily driver.

Now that it's been sold, please tell me the new owner isn't going to just let it sit in his garage all the time. That thing is begging to be driven.

i doubt its road legal in even the slightest way

"Delivered to its first and only owner in December 1988, #79888 was road-registered on 17th of September 1999...one can hardly imagine driving the open roads with such massive performance under the foot."

Apparently it is :driving:

lol, how do they get away with that. Its more or less a race car with nearly 650hp and weighs a little over a ton

I have never been much into replicas, but this one looks good actually. This is a near 100% copy of a Ford RS200. And I know this isn't E-bay either...

Space framed replica, with built in roll cage,Glass fibre body with fire resistant gel coating. Made by RS automotive, only millimeters seperate this cars dimensions from a real one. The weight distribution is 48%-52%.There is almost no body roll and will corner so fast you need a G suit. It runs a Mid mounted RS cosworth engine, lightly tuned to 310bhp,rolling road by P.T.S with the print out to prove it,the car weights next to nothing at 1000kg. The engine's mated to a renault uni 1 transaxle, which are bomb proof and good for 450 bhp+. All cosworth elecs and running gear, coil over suspension ,Sparco evo seats and harness, trust me you need them, New RS500 callipers, New alternator and battery, flocked dash, roof mounted "pace" intercooler. All M.O.Ts,3 owners.CAT 1 alarm and tracker.18" hockenheim alloys and nearly new tyres, new mot, ready to go for the summer. Costs under ?500 to insure with Adrianflux without using your no claims bonus. Supercar performance with cosworth reliability. All the looks and power of a real one with none of the draw backs or the 60-100k to buy one. Drives and runs faultlessly. This car is so quick it will rip out your eyes and stops quicker than my gsxr.

RS200...310 freaking HP per ton!! :jawdrop:
And there is plenty more left in that engine. The RS200 evo had over 500 hp, and seeing 700 hp Cosworth engines is not unusual at trackday meetings in Norway and England. The most powerfull one of these engines I have seen/heard is the 872 hp Jenspeed built one in this ex rallycross Escort. (Doing lots of this...)

Id rather have 100% genuine...
Genuine RS200
There is a big difference though. The original is ?100'000 while the replica is ?15'000. And on top of that you won't find any differences in performance either if you up the power a bit in the replica... (Bare in mind, they have the same engine)
