Best Podcast Client? Mainly for windows. Preferably open source.

Was using Radio Downloader but its a bit clunky and the SQLite database corrupted. Luckily I was able to extract podcast program list.

Trying Clementine but its might be good when its finished. Found Banshee to be even worse.

iTunes? It's been ages since I've actually downloaded a podcast so I'm spitballing here.

I used to use FeedDemon when I downloaded podcasts to my MP3 player and Win Mo phones. That doesn't exist anymore though, IIRC.

Why does it need to be tied to a PC? I like DoggCatcher for Android but many swear by PocketCasts which is cross-platform. This also allows you to listen via any computer in a browser: https://play.pocketcasts.com/

I use Pocket Casts on Android, and it comes with a web client as well. So it syncs between the two.
