As this is the Brocken railway in the Harz mountains, here’s a map of that region:

I took this with a 2020 iPhone SE (i.e. a pretty basic phone) with digital zoom and through glass in that low light that’s typical of museums. It’s amazing how far these cameras and the software have come.

I took a drive up this past week to my favorite viewpoint in Waldkirch facing the Black Forest.
