I dont think its that.

The guy in charge of the site, Aaron, lived within range of hurricane Katrina and I remember him posting just before it hit. Since then he hasnt posted (which was ages ago) and a few of us at BetaCars are a tad worried. We have no idea what his situation is like now, so we wait...

Dont worry though, if you had 1-star access (ie: everything), the links still work. If you didnt, the links are down. You could try the FTP if you have its details but the speed is limited there. Otherwise there are alternatives..
 
As a moderator at betacars.com I can say only one thing: the site is down.

Well the admin (Aaron_J) didn't contact us for over 25 days now...last we heard from him he was in a hotel...just before the huricane...so we asume he is OK...the site is down cuz he didn't pay the domain...well we hope he will soon...but I think he has biggger problems right now...like for example were he is going to live etc...

I have been away for the last few weeks because I live near New Orleans and have not had any way to access the internet. During this time the site went down when the Betacars.com domain expired. I had no way of knowing this had happened and I was suprised find the site down when my internet access was restored just over an hour ago.

I will be working to update the site as soon as I can.
