that's in vs IN, so yes, that is an uppercase N

How about a lowercase mockup?

This one is the best. T looks like a T. Maybe without shading, like in the first design, would be better, but font is the best here. Easy enough to read and looking good at the same time.

Dose pigs beddah.......

Helps with the gangster patois.

Other than that? :roflmao:

No Quiky? :p

Inspired, like most of my work, in irc

Done from both of us. I also linked it to my FB and a lot of my friends

Aaand here's how it came about. I wanted to make an acoustic absorber panel with a neat picture, and did this "render" to see if I like it:

I did :) Then I got a bunch of board wood, made the frame:

Adding padding material inside. It's stonewool basically, used for heat insulation, but just the right density to kill my echo, and also considerably cheaper than the same stuff marketed as acoustic plate.

It's huge! The felt material is just to contain the wool dust inside, it's not that great for lungs I hear...

Took a while to find a position, the bloody thing weighs a ton.

Custom designed stealthy hooks! I wanted the frame to be against the wall without a gap.

The print is here! Holy shit, it's immense! They actually printed it a bit larger than I requested, but oh well... I wanted a soft material, but finally ended up on this rather stiff canvas. Still soft enough to help fight the echo, but quite tough to work with.

A very tedious work of stretching the canvas over the frame.

And finally on the wall!

This took me a while actually, I started the project back in February, but only got the print done now.

My deepest gratitude to mr. Blayde for making me an ?berhigh res version of that picture free of charge

Whoa, excellent idea to combine awesome picture with improved acoustics (I might steal the concept :p)! And excellent work from Blayde too!

It was fun to follow MXM's progress on irc and get updates, it was awesome as this project was built up and to see my art that hueg on someone's wall is just epic.

Oh, and a bonus effect, in the first picture, the light looks like it creates the shadow on the car and ground, hax!

/and yes, i know i've been straggling on art, just not feeling creative for the last few weeks, was hoping to get started on a few ideas including a 959/F40 idea

That's an important point, because it's easy to kill the acoustic properties of something. You can take acoustic ceiling tiles, and paint them and you've just ruined most of their abilities to absorb sound.

Very nice
